Our Friend Nelson Hopkins was murdered Tuesday Night at the age of seventeen. Check out today's front page of the Kansas City Star for more details. Nelson was an overachiever. He was a senior in high school and planning on attending college. He went to school, worked at Anthony's, and visited the library. He touched many lives.
Tomorrow morning his friend Nick Wright is dedicating the last 30 minutes of his show to Nelson. He is on Sports Talk Radio 610 AM from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. He will talk about Nelson from 10:30a.m. to 11:00a.m.. Anthony's has many customers that Nelson has made an everlasting impact and they want to do something special for him and his family. We need to pull together as a community and raise some awareness, so this senseless violence stops. Anything you can do to put more exposure on his senseless death will be greatly appreciated.
